Honor, hard work, and hometown pride fuel the Annual Firefighters Fishing Tournament at Sebastian Saltwater. Crews of anglers head out for a full day on the water chasing big catches and bigger bragging rights. Back at the docks, the weigh-in draws a crowd as trophies and prizes get handed out, cold beers flow, and the smell of fresh seafood fills the air. More than a tournament, the event celebrates the fishing community's heart: friendly rivalry on the water, plenty of laughs on shore, and a family-friendly atmosphere that welcomes kids, neighbors, and visitors alike. Proceeds support Captains for Clean Water, so every cast also helps protect the waterways that make this tradition possible.

This signature event brings anglers from near and far to test their skill in the hunt for swordfish off the Treasure Coast. Teams can head out overnight, lines tight and eyes on the prize, before returning to Sebastian Saltwater for the official weigh-in and awards. Guests can enjoy fresh seafood, cold drinks, and plenty of stories from the water. With prizes for top catches, bragging rights on the line, and a lively dockside atmosphere, the Shootout offers something for seasoned anglers, casual spectators, and families alike.
